Alberta'lyn (Lyn) Smith

Founder, HandZ Up Nevada

Yes, my first name is Alberta'lyn, but I go by Lyn.

My mission of serving women started over 20 years ago with my in-home child care center in Southern California.

After moving to Nevada and going through a divorce, I found myself displaced with three daughters of my own.

I know what it's like to feel alone and be without a support system.

Through God's grace and the eventual help of others, I was able to get back on my feet and open another in-home child care center in Las Vegas.

I founded HandZ Up because I don't want any other single mom to feel alone and have nowhere to go without a support system.

My goal is to help single moms bridge the gaps from where they are to where they want to be.
